    The ford is up to 20 feet wide at normal level (knee depth). If river is flooded above knee depth, walk up the trail a bit to a flat spot & wait for level to drop.

    No mobile phone service here. The pit toilet has been recently replaced.

    This beautiful cosy hut has an iron slow combustion stove and several bunks inside. Campsites outside are partially sheltered.

    When heading north to Round Mtn, there's one ridge with marginal Telstra 3G reception. There's no mobile phone cover generally except upon major summits. If heading south, there's marginal coverage at Schlink Pass on T 3G.
